This Project involve construction of new Long-Term Care (LTC) building, a New residential Domiciliary Building (DOM) and the replacement of existing Medium Voltage electrical distribution on the site. We also upgraded the existing fire alarm loop along with other site related work.
Services Rendered: Electrical Design
Project Features:
·Assisting architect in developing bridging design set (30% DD) and provide evaluation of design builder design beyond 30% DD document.
DOMICILIARY and LTC: responsible for complete power distribution, lighting design and fire alarm. Design also involves Solar PV panel design over roof to achieve LEED goals for LTC and NET zero goal for DOM.
DOM Power- proposed 1200 amp, 480V switchgear for entire building power requirements. Also proposed 225KW generator for emergency power.
LTC Power- proposed 3000 amp, 480V switchgear for entire building power requirements. Intent is to provide 2000 KW emergency power using diesel generator. Design also involved Life safety and Equipment branches as per NEC 517.
Lighting and Controls - LED lights with more than 80 CRI, LEED rated are proposed in both building and for whole site lighting. Lighting controls are provided to satisfy LEED silver design for both building. CCT lighting fixture provided in resident rooms in LTC to improve health of the patients.
