WES provided complete Mechanical and Electrical design to replace the failing chiller which served the Medical Unit and Vocational Building for the correctional facility. This building is critical to the operation of the facility. The scope of work included removal of existing air-cooled chiller and a portion of the existing piping, electrical conduits & wiring and replacing with new air-cooled chiller, piping, conduits and wiring, then connecting the new chiller into the existing chiller water system and integrating the new chiller controls into existing chilled water system controls. Provision of the rental chiller for uninterrupted cooling provision was also part of design services we provided.

Project Features:
· Overseeing the temporary installation of the rental chiller
· Was present on a monthly basis when the performance of the rental chiller was verified by the Trane Company.
· Demo of existing 250-ton air-cooled screw chiller.
· Installation of (1) New State of the Art 250-ton air-cooled chiller.
· All associated piping, electrical, and controls.
